The Riata Center includes a dedicated staff of entrepreneurship professionals who foster the spirit of entrepreneurship through innovative outreach programs. The team is dedicated to high impact entrepreneurial outreach on the campus, in the region, around the State of Oklahoma, and across America. The Center is intimately engaged with the entrepreneurial community, and strongly committed to creating unique experiential learning opportunities for students.

The Entrepreneurs Inspire Bootcamp (in Enid) is a pragmatic program for Oklahomans seriously interested in launching their own ventures and those in the early stages of start-up. The program occurs over four consecutive Saturday mornings at Enid’s Autry Technology Center. It features award-winning faculty, highly successful entrepreneurs, and a number of subject matter experts. Our goal is to share the key elements that go into the creation of a profitable and sustainable new venture.

All businesses start with a cool idea. Before committing to writing a business plan, a pitch and poster competition is the perfect way to get feedback on your new business idea or product. The Pitch and Poster Competition is a campus-wide event where students have a chance to present an elevator pitch and a poster about their original business service or product idea for a chance to win cash prizes.
3DS - 3 Days Startup

3 Day Startup is an internationally recognized program that focuses on kick-starting new student-run companies. For 3 full days, students across campus pick best startup ideas, deliver prototypes, and pitch to investors.
National Veterans Entrepreneurship Program

The Veterans Entrepreneurship Program (VEP) offers cutting edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to veterans disabled as a result of their service. The intent of the VEP is to open the door to entrepreneurial opportunity and small business ownership, by developing competencies in the many steps and activities associated with creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture, and also by helping coordinate efforts with programs and services for veterans and others with disabilities.
Startup Weekend Startup Weekend
Startup Weekend is a weekend-long hands-on experience where entrepreneurs find out if startup ideas are viable. The event is opened to an entire community so students will be working alongside a community’s best makers, doers, and star entrepreneurs.

Interns add meaningful value to the work environment and produce a number of useful deliverables. Interns also take independent study credits in order to meet certain curriculum requirements.
Riata Faculty Fellows Program Riata Faculty Fellows Program
The Riata Faculty Fellows Program offers a unique opportunity for faculty from any discipline to work on research, curriculum development or outreach initiatives that link their home discipline to entrepreneurship.
Student Start-Up Central Student Start-Up Central
Student Start-Up Central is an off-campus student business incubator facility that provides office space, resources and services to student startups from every discipline across campus. SSC currently houses two programs- the Riata Idea Hatchery and the Riata New Venture Incubator each of which caters to students in different stages of their startup business.
Entrepreneurship Inspire Series Entrepreneurship Inspire Series
A year-round meetup series that promotes peer to peer networking and startups meeting other startups. Series will feature guest entrepreneur speakers, visits to local businesses, and a variety of events that promote creativity and entrepreneurship.
The Riata Project The Riata Project
The Riata Project is a series of new outreach initiatives that include global study abroad opportunities, commercialization projects, and partnership with global corporations.
